Mama's Sweet Potato Pie

3 cups of sweet potatoes
1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoon nutmeg
4 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavor
½ cup of butter
4 eggs
½ cup carnation milk
2 pie Crust

Wash and slice potatoes. Cook sweet potatoes for 2 hours or until done. Drain water off potatoes. Blend potatoes in mixer for about 3 minutes. Remove beaters. Rinse beaters. Blend potatoes in mixer for another 3 minutes. Remove beaters. Rinse beaters. Blend potatoes in mixer for another 3 minutes. Remove beaters. Rinse beaters. Repeat these steps until there are no potatoes strings in beaters.

Then add sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, butter, eggs, carnation milk and flavor. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Pour mixture into pie crusts. Do not over fill crusts.

Bake pies for about 3 hours or until golden brown.
